All in the family

THE HOUND reckons that meat industry politics must be a real family affair for the Morrison brothers of Southland.

 

Don Morrison, a former executive member of meat industry lobby group MIE, was elected on to the board of the Alliance Group late last year – when MIE candidates picked up directorships on both Alliance and Silver Fern Farms. 

Meanwhile, Don’s younger sibling – Andrew – has recently been elected on to the board of Beef and Lamb NZ (BLNZ) – replacing outgoing southern director Leon Black.
