Alliance has announced a series of capital raise roadshow event, starting on 29 September in Tuatapere, Southland.

Alliance chair Mark Wynne and chief executive Willie Wiese will provide further details on the proposed strategic investment partnership with Dawn Meats.

Farmer-shareholders will also have an opportunity to vote or appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf.

Shareholders can expect to receive a Scheme Booklet and accompanying information about a Special General Meeting in the coming weeks.

"We encourage all shareholders to attend one of the roadshow meetings," says Wynne.

"This is an important opportunity to hear directly from the company, ask questions and gain a clear understanding of the proposed investment partnership," he says.

The roadshow will run for approximately two weeks prior to the shareholder vote in October.

Farmers can register for the roadshow at www.alliance.co.nz/proposed-strategic-investment-partnership/#register-for-roadshow
