Global tractor manufacturer AGCO – the home of Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Valtra – has released a totally new engine design.
Just prior to the end of 2022, the Tractor of the Year 2023 results were announced by the judging panel at EIMA – the Italian machinery show, held in Bologna.
With input costs still riding high because of ongoing global events, scrutinisation of machinery operational costs has come to the forefront.
Following its acquisition of the Lely grassland business, Fendt, part of the global AGCO group, has invested €20m (NZ$34m) at its Wolfenbuttel factory in Lower Saxony.
Following what seems months of rumours, Fendt has shown its hand with details of its Generation Seven, 700 Series tractors, expected to be released in late 2023.
Farm machinery brand Fendt has expanded into the harvester market in Australia and New Zealand, with is Ideal combine harvester.
While telescopic handlers are increasingly popular on New Zealand farms, the arrival of German tractor maker Fendt in the sector takes things to a higher level – literally in the case of the operator.
