The too-good-to-be-true role also offers money upfront. Chances are it’s a hoax. On its Farm Source jobs pages Fonterra is seeing more scam/hoax activity. The co-op advises all users to beware of hoax emails from would-be employers or applicants, especially when they are asking for details of bank account, credit card or photo ID; often these are used for identity fraud and money laundering. And if it asks you to send or receive funds directly from your account, hit the delete button. If you have any questions or want to report a suspicious ad or any other scamming, contact Fonterra on 0800 65 65 68.
