A mate of the Hound reckons former Fonterra director Ashley Waugh must have taken to heart his failure last year to get re-elected to the dairy co-op’s board.

According to your canine crusader’s informant, Waugh’s Waikato dairy farm now has a newly erected Synlait supply sign proudly displayed on the milk tanker track to his dairy shed.

“He’s either pissed off because we didn’t re-elect him,” the friendly spy told this old mutt.

“Or we (Fonterra shareholders) got it right, because he can’t really be a cooperative believing man.” A fair point, your old mate would have thought.
