Farming may have been given permission to operate as essential services during the lockdown but authorities are still not taking chances.

One dairy industry leader received a call from “a lovely lady” from Ministry of Primary Industries.

The call was to check on the farmer’s essential service registration/procedures. The feedback from her was that farmers rung on the day were aware of obligations and seriousness of Covid-19!
