A new food truck is hitting the streets of Los Angeles to give residents a taste of New Zealand.
The food truck was launched by Beef + Lamb New Zealand (B+LNZ) as part of a new Taste Pure Nature campaign, in partnership with Atkins Ranch grass-fed lamb and First Light Farms 100% grass-fed Wagyu beef.
The truck started its Los Angeles residency on 27 October and until 22 November, consumers in the area can experience New Zealand grass-fed beef and lam with menu creations from Los Angeles chef Alvin Cailan.
The food truck sampling tour is designed to enable consumers throughout the city to try grass-fed beef and lamb from New Zealand and discover what makes it so delicious.
Michael Wan, B+LNZ global manager – NZ Red Meat Story, says the organisation is excited to introduce Los Angeles consumers to the taste of New Zealand grass-fed meat.
“The food truck sampling tour provides a platform to tell the New Zealand grass-fed story under the Taste Pure Nature origin brand, and through collaboration introduce them to our partners’ brands and where they can buy their products,” Wan says.
Free samples of the First Light Farms 100% grass-fed Wagyu beef picanha sandwich and Atkins Ranch lamb tostada will be available to consumers who visit the food truck at its various stops including The Brig, Grand Central Market and The Rose Bowl Flea Market, as well as supermarkets selling Atkins Ranch and First Light Farms products.
