Brown back as FSC chair

Written by

The Fonterra Shareholders Council has elected Ian Brown as its chairman.

The decision to formally elect Brown provides the Council with continuity heading into a post-Trading Among Farmers environment. Brown took over the chairmanship eight weeks aho after Simon Couper resigned over TAF.

Brown then helped guide the council and shareholders through the TAF final vote.

Brown looks forward to leading the council. Philip Palmer, Wairarapa ward, was elected as deputy chair
