Don't forget!

Written by  The Hound

OPINION: Yours truly sees that the political phoenix that is Winston Peters is again trying to make a return to parliament.

Peters recently unveiled NZ First's slogan for this year's election... 'Take our country back'.

I am sure many readers would like Peters to 'take our country back' to September 2017 when he signed up with Labour and started the train wreck of the past 6 years.

While the wily old campaigner would like to downplay his part in creating the mess we now have running the joint, it is actually his fault entirely and this should not be forgotten.

More like this

Lame Duck?

OPINION: The media is already playing the 'who will Winston choose?' game every time the polls show Labour and National neck and neck.

New Order

OPINION: If old Winston Peters thinks building trade relations with new nations, such as India, isn't a necessary investment in our future, he has rocks in his head.

Indian FTA

OPINION: Winston Peters' tirade against the free trade deal stitched with India may not be all political posturing by the wily politician.

Where is Luxon?

OPINION: Why can't Christopher Luxon stand up to Winston Peters over the latter’s high-profile attack on the proposed Indian FTA?

Too political!

OPINION: After seven years of Adrian Orr’s antics as Reserve Bank NZ governor, the priority of his successor, Anna Breman, surely is rebuilding the tarnished reputation of the RBNZ, not stepping on the Foreign Minister’s toes by commenting on US domestic politics.

Editorial: Calm and Common Sense

OPINION: As the fuel crisis hits the country and rural New Zealand in particular, perhaps it's time to turn to one of the kaumatua of the rural sector, Pita Alexander - farm accountant, advisor and a source of knowledge and insightfulness.
