Nicola Shadbolt elected as LIC director

Academic and former Fonterra director Nicola Shadbolt has been elected as LIC director.

Shadbolt beat two other candidates - Kevin Argyle and Pamela Storey - and joined the co-operative's board at its annual meeting last week.

LIC shareholders also approved a resolution to increase the remuneration of LIC chair and board members - 75% voted for the resolution while 25% opposed it.

Shareholders also approved the appointment of Hamish Rumbold and Blair O'Keefe as appointed directors.
