The forming of CKNZ, a subsidiary of CB Norwood Distributors Ltd, heralds a new direction for the distribution of Case IH in New Zealand as Norwood prepares a new growth strategy. 

The new range of Kuhn Profile double-auger mixers are designed for intensive use, with capacities starting from 18cu.m, ideal in tight spaces, and to 34cu.m for users doing larger jobs.

Following the success of the Kuhn Cultimer L with three rows of tines, the company has launched the Cultimer M 300 for tractors of 75 to 135hp. 

The new Kuhn Performer 3000 (3m working width) extends the existing Performer 4, 5, 6 and 7m tine/disc, deep cultivator range, allowing cutting, mixing, soil loosening and consolidation in one-pass. 

Kuhn is expanding its range of single-seed sowing drills with a new 8-row folding, trailed frame layout for maize, using 70 and 75cm spacing. 

Kuhn has added a new model to its Master plough range with the 4- to 6-bodied Vari-Master L – an ideal fit with the new generation of short wheelbase tractors from 200 to 300hp. 

The 1012 series Gyrotedders from Kuhn is expanding with the arrival of two mounted and two trailed models (GF 8712 / 8712T and GF 10812 /10812T) with eight and 10 rotors respectively, in working widths of 8.70m and 10.80m. 

Machinery giant Kuhn has developed a new power tiller (rotary hoe) -- the EL402 R – with a working width of 6m and a transmission driveline for tractors up to 400hp. 

The acclaimed machinery maker Kuhn, known especially for its cultivation and grassland gear, is celebrating 190 years since Joseph Kuhn opened a forge in Alsace, France in 1828.

Stand-alone bale wrappers have fallen from favour over the last decade, the job going instead to baler/combination units. This is because older models were not able to keep up with modern, high speed balers.
