Good on Taika Waititi for winning an Oscar, especially for his brief acceptance speech during which he lectured us all on…nothing.

Unlike actor Joaquin Phoenix who used his mad soapbox rant to share his opinion on the ‘evils’ of artificial bovine insemination. 

God spare us from any more high-handed lectures from the elite who fly in on private jets and tell the rest of us how to be better people.

Golden Globe host Ricky Gervais had it right when he told the actors, “If you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent, thank your God and f*ck off, OK?”
