Four candidates have been confirmed for two director positions on Fonterra’s board.

They include sitting director Cathy Quinn and agribusiness leaders Jessie Chan, Mark Cox and Peter Moynihan.

Fonterra shareholders can stand for board elections in two ways: as independently assessed candidates or as non-assessed candidates.

All four candidates filed their nominations as assessed candidates. No shareholders chose to go through the non-assessment process this year.

Voting packs containing candidate profiles will be mailed to eligible shareholders next week.

Shareholders can vote online or by post. Voting closes at 10.30am on November 10 and results will be announced later that day.

The two successful directors take up their positions at Fonterra annual general meeting in Hamilton next month.
