THE HOUND had a bit of a giggle at Fed Farmers’ meat and wool chair Janet Maxwell comments, in a radio interview with Newstalk ZB’s Mike Hosking, on the horse meat scandal in the UK.
The Feds meat and wool chair was ebullient in her praise of the NAIT scheme. What made your old mate snigger about this comment was his memory of how the Feds have fought the NAIT scheme tooth-and-nail from the get-go. Oh well, now it looks like the farmer lobby may have had a change of heart over the merits of NAIT.
