Pöttinger Launches TOP V 6520 C Twin Rotor Rake
Austrian manufacturer Pottinger has released details of a new compact, linkage-mounted compact twin rotor rake, without a chassis, that is said to deliver impressive manoeuvrability.
Austrian manufacturer Pöttinger has completed its fiscal year 2025/26 (ending 31 July) with what it suggests is a satisfactory overall result, with revenues of EUR 485 million, an increase of 5%.
Following a record year in 2022/23, with revenues of EUR 641 million, and a subsequent downturn (EUR 461 million in 2024/25), the trend is on the way up again, driven by multiple developments in grassland technology, including updates to its Harvest 4.0 app, auto swath placement for Novacat V and two additions to the loader wagon ranges.
With a steady 90% export ratio, with France and Germany among the most important markets, the company also achieved year on year growth in the all-important Austrian domestic market.
Employee numbers remains stable at 2100 people, who represent 37 different nationalities of which 1173 work in Austria, 407 in Czechia, 208 in Germany, 76 in Italy, and the remaining 217 work at Pöttinger subsidiaries around the world. Manufacturing is centred around manufacturing plants at Grieskirchen and St. Georgen bei Grieskirchen in Austria, Bernburg in Germany, Vodňany, Czechia and Tagliamento in Italy.
With its international parts logistics centre in Taufkirchen (Upper Austria) and 17 regional warehouses across Europe, America, Asia and Australia, Pöttinger ensures a fast and reliable supply of parts over the longer term around the globe,
An expansion at Taufkirchen, that commenced in March 2026 and scheduled for completion by the end of the year, will create an additional 3000 sqm of warehouse capacity, alongside a fourth aisle in the automated small parts warehouse, which will create another 10,000 storage spaces.
Despite ongoing geopolitical challenges, Gregor Dietachmayr, speaker of the executive board, had an optimistic outlook for the future until last month: “While the markets remain challenging, we did see the first signs of stabilisation. However, the situation is bound to change as a result of the drought affecting almost all European countries and the consequent drop in crop yields. Our mission is to continue supporting our customers by investing in innovation, digitisation and new products and services. This provides the basis for ensuring that we continue to grow in the future.”
