Korean company Kioti reports that its European division and French company Naïo Technologies have formed a strategic partnership to develop a new robotic platform.

The two companies will cooperate in areas, including the industrialisation of robotic agricultural solutions, cost optimisation, and commercial development across European and international markets.

Kioti previewed an autonomous version of its HXS1403 tractor at last November’s Agritechnica, with the first robotic result from the new partnership expected to be unveiled towards the end of 2026.

Douglas Kang, CEO of Kioti Europe, says the strategic partnership marks a significant step forward in the company’s mission to bring practical, innovative robotics to farmers.

“By combining our industrial expertise and global reach with Naïo’s cutting-edge robotic technology, we aim to accelerate the development and deployment of next-generation solutions that will make farming more efficient and accessible,” he says.

Founded in near Toulouse, France, in 2011, Naïo reckons to have already deployed over 350 of its Ted, Jo, Oz and Orio autonomous robots across five continents.

Naio general manager, Matthias Carrière, comments, “the collaboration represents a major milestone for our company, enabling us to accelerate the industrialisation of our technologies and significantly expand our reach, both here in France and internationally.”
