WINTON FATHER and son duo Peter and Jason Robson took out the horse ploughing section at the New Zealand Ploughing Championships in Cambridge over the weekend.
A name synonymous with Ploughing in New Zealand is Alan Wallace, now of Te Awamutu, who was the first New Zealander to win a World Ploughing Championship held in Eire in 1981.
FOR SOMEONE who has not done a lot of competitive ploughing, Colin Millar, of Rotorua (formerly of Reporoa), has come to the fore in this farming 'sport'.
