No joy here

Written by

Your canine crusader sees that the self-proclaimed font of all knowledge on NZ’s water quality Dr Mike Joy refuses to accept the latest figures released by LAWA on river water quality trends (2007 - 2016).

These figures show improving trends in water quality were more common than degrading trends in all water quality parameters. However, Joy was quick to mount his high horse and get on to television to persist in chanting his well-worn mantra of doom and gloom regarding NZ’s water quality. Joy’s refusal to accept evidence-based information such as provided by LAWA prompts this old mutt to question how the joyless doctor can teach his Massey Uni students anything much.
