US actor Joaquin Phoenix is being accused of taking away UK farmers’ livelihoods.
According to a recent survey, more than one in 10 Kiwis now say they are vegetarian – up 2% from 2011.

It surveyed people aged 14 or older and found 10.38% of Kiwis described themselves as mostly or always vegetarian.
That figure was up from 8.1% in 2011. In the North Island, the figure was 11.1%, up from 8.4%, while in the South Island it was 7.8%, up from 6.9%.
