By all accounts The ‘Farm Break’ do was excellent with a huge number of sponsors from the rural community getting in behind to pay for food and drinks, fire up barbecues, shout buses to get people there and home all over the region, and generally help out. And there was entertainment by comedian Te Radar. However, your old mate understands not all rural businesses were so keen. Apparently, PGG Wrightson staff were told – from on high – not to attend the event as the company did not support it. Your canine crusader reckons that is a major own goal by PGW.
