Meanwhile, the minister in charge of Landcorp, Shane Jones, was quick to criticise Fonterra for its terrible financial performance. But he’s been deathly silent on the woeful performance of the business he is supposed to be overseeing. Perhaps Jones could take a leaf out of the dairy co-op’s book and freeze all pay rises for the 25% (or more) of Landcorp staff pulling in at least $100K a year.
