Last week's high profile signing of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement sadly showed an ugly side of Auckland.

Protesters blocked streets, delaying commuters and students from reaching work and classes.

Adding to the woes was a strike by bus drivers, the timing raising a few eyebrows.

The TPP has been signed; let's give it time to prove itself. New Zealand farmers didn't get everything they wanted but they haven't stopped work.
