WINTON FATHER and son duo Peter and Jason Robson took out the horse ploughing section at the New Zealand Ploughing Championships in Cambridge over the weekend.

The horse ploughing competition was sponsored by Rural News Group.

The winner of the reversible ploughing division was Malcolm Taylor, who has now won the competition three years in a row.

Has represented New Zealand in Slovenia and Sweden and will be ploughing in Croatia in September. The win means he will represent New Zealand at world champs in Canada in 2014.

The winner of Silver Plough supreme award for conventional ploughing Murray Redmond repeated his winning performance of last year.
