New Feds VP Ready To Work For Farmers
Newly appointed Federated Farmers vice president Sandra Faulkner says she is honoured and excited to hold the role.
Federated Farmers has two new board members- Sandra Faulkner, Gisborne and Mark Hooper, Taranaki.
They were elected after several rounds of voting at the Feds annual general meeting in Auckland today. Under Fed’s election rules, over 50% of the votes are required to get elected.
They replace Chris Lewis and Chris Allen.
Faulkner, husband Rob and their family farm Wairakaia Station at Muriwai.south of Gsbprne.
She has served as Gisborne/Wairoa provincial president and as meat and wool provincial chair.
Hooper and his wife milk 320 cows in Lepparton, North Taranaki.
