Flexible way to feed

Catching the eye on the Agbits site at Central Districts Field Days, Feilding, the Flexifeeder caters for all types of livestock — sheep, deer, calves or full-grown cattle.

This offers a simple, robust way to prevent wastage that can occur when stock are fed on the ground.

It’s made from polyethylene sheeting folded to a hopper profile then secured by stainless steel wires and fittings. The units are mounted on galvanised steel skid pads that keep them off the ground while they are towed around the paddocks.

They are supplied in kit form for easy onfarm assembly.

Available up to 10m long in a range of sections to suit specific livestock types, the units are easy to tow; a 10m cattle feeder weighs only 200kg.

They are watertight so can hold liquid supplements, including molasses. And they can be set up in and around yards or feed pads as a feed trough system, used with the Flexirigger wire set-up allowing livestock unrestricted access to feed but prevents trampling.
