Deutz records strong 2025 growth driven by acquisitions and cost efficiency

Written by  Staff Reporters

Engine maker Deutz is realising increasing growth in new orders and revenue in the first six months of 2025.

For the period, new orders increased by 30.7% to €1.034 billion and revenue climbing by 15.0% to €1.007 billion, giving an EBIT margin of 4.7%.

The company claims the integration of new lines of business and a rigorous cost-cutting programme is enhancing its long-term competitiveness.

Along the way, acquisitions include gen-set manufacturer Blue Star Power Systems and the integration of selected Daimler Truck engines from Rolls-Royce.

Deutz is predicting that for the full year, there will be a modest general recovery, delivering a total revenue of between €2.1 and €2.3 billion.
