Dirty politics?

Written by

Further to earlier concerns raised about this matter, your old mate is deeply troubled by the nefarious behaviour of Associate Environment Minister and Green MP Eugenie Sage over the sudden resignation of Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) chief scientist Dr Jacqueline Rowarth.

Under questioning in Parliament, Sage has admitted to meeting with the chief executive of the EPA and forwarding emails critical of Rowarth to him, but claiming to not to have had ‘substantive discussions’ on the matter. It seems to this old mutt that Sage is dancing on the head of a pin in her less-than-believable denials. The Hound reckons if Sage ever gives up politics, her less-than-exemplary antics would not be out of place as the new captain of the Australian cricket team.
