Alliance is calling for final applications for its 2027 Graduate Programme, with applications closing on Sunday 25 October.

The two-year programme is designed to build the practical skills and leadership capability needed for the future of New Zealand’s red meat sector.

Graduates gain hands-on experience across a wide range of the company’s processing operations before moving into project-based work focused on business improvement and strategic priorities.

In the first year, graduates are based at Alliance’s Lorneville, Pukeuri (Oamaru) or Dannevirke plants. They learn how the business works from the ground up and play an active role in it.

In the second year, they apply that operational knowledge to projects across the company, gaining exposure to operational, commercial, engineering and corporate teams.

The programme is underpinned by structured development, mentoring and access to senior leaders.

Graduates also develop an understanding of the full value chain, from livestock through to premium grass-fed lamb, beef and venison reaching customers across the globe.

Applicants may be nearing completion of their degree or have graduated within the past two years.
