Mothers’ milk – from the bank

Needy babies in the US state of South Carolina now have the chance to receive breast milk from the state’s most generous moms.

South Carolina’s first breast milk bank just opened in North Charleston. Ten “milk depots”will accept donations. 

Milk donated to the bank won’t be sold, but will be distributed to neonatal intensive care units across the state.
