Its tines regulate the flow of hay off the bale, so it doesn't come off in huge chunks.
Another feature is adjustable 'aggression pins' – offset and located in the bottom of the feeder. These have the job of ripping or releasing hay off hard or tightly packed bales.
The chains and drive are the same as on the maker's ordinary model bale feeders. These are substantial in construction and easy to maintain and lubricate.
The feeder weighs about 600kg and will handle baleage and hay.
