Fiancé finalists to square off
Steph Le Brocq and Sam Allen, a bride and groom-to-be, are among those set to face off in regional finals across New Zealand in the hopes of being named the Young Farmer of the Year.
Open Farms is calling on farmers to sign up to host an open day event on their farm this year.
Daniel Eb, Open Farms founder, says the initiative is about creating meaningful connections between farmers and consumers.
“We want farmers to feel confident and excited to host an event, no matter the scale,” Eb says.
“We support farmers from planning what the day will look like, right through to marketing,” he adds.
“After 14,000 visits, 130 events and great feedback across the board, now is the time to share your pride and passion for farming with others.”
