CEO departs

Written by  Milking It

OPINION: The world's largest dairy company Lactalis has parted ways with its chief executive.

The Lactalis group announced the departure of managing director Philippe Palazzi, who took office just a year ago. And they were not hiding the reason for his sudden exit.

"As the conditions for alignment with the Group's strategy could not be met, Emmanuel Bensler, Chairman of the Lactalis group, and Philippe Palazzi, Chief Executive Officer, are ending their collaboration as of February 3, 2022", explains the group in a press release.

Media reports say the two men couldn't agree about their visions for 2033, the date on which Lactalis will celebrate its 100th anniversary.
