OPINION: The Greens aren’t serious people when it comes to the economy, so let’s not spend too much on their fiscal fantasies.
Actually, it sounds like a tall story, but it nicely illustrates what some media sound like when defending themselves for taking the strings-attached funding.
The story goes, Churchill asked the socialite if she would sleep with him for him for five million pounds. She replied, 'I suppose I would'. When asked if she would do it for five pounds, she haughtily replied 'What type of woman do you think I am?' To which he said, 'We've just established that, now we're just negotiating over the price!'
