Agricultural machinery distributor, Landpower Group, has acquired the Canterbury- based Claas Harvest Centres in Ashburton, Templeton, Timaru, Waipara, and Westland from the Carrfields Group.
The South Island Agricultural Field Days (SIAFD) gave the Landpower Vegetable Centre, a specialist division of the Claas Harvest Centres, the chance to show of it extensive product range – centred around the vegetable cultivation, planting and harvesting sector.
One of Australasia’s largest, privately-owned farm machinery distributors, Landpower is building a new $10 million complex adjacent to Hamilton Airport.
Landpower had joined other agri-companies in sponsoring $850,000 of agricultural technology, service and advice for Lincoln University.
