Your canine crusader admires those people in high positions who do not take their own self-importance too seriously and are willing to take the proverbial out of themselves.

A recent example of this is Beef+Lamb chair Andrew Morrison who was quick to put the boot into himself at the organisation’s annual meeting late month.

The Southland farmer told those attending the BLNZ AGM in Timaru that he had been so busy with Beef+Lamb NZ work in the past year – instead of looking after things on his Gore sheep and beef farm – that: “his family is starting to fat shame him and his dogs won’t listen to him anymore”.
