Our cousins across the ditch could soon run out of fresh milk.

Australian Agriculture Minister David Littleproud says in the past year, 500 dairy farmers have left the industry amid pressure from drought and market conditions.

He warns there won’t be enough dairy farmers in the country to continue to supply fresh milk for Australians right around the country.

With Scott Morrison and Jacinda Ardern talking about a trans-tasman bubble, could our dairy farmers soon be sending fresh milk across the ditch?
