Shearer has it wrong

Written by

To compare the retail prices of Coke and milk and say the Coke was more affordable than milk is misleading.

Opposition MP David Shearer seems to have forgotten how the milk is produced: farmers are up at 4am milking cows, the milk is then picked up by tankers and taken to factories for processing, then it’s bottled and sent to supermarkets and other retailers.

And let’s not forget the animals farmers raise and keep in shape and good health to make the high quality milk.

And what does it take to make Coke? A secret recipe.
