Fonterra won't be the only dairy company investing in alternative protein: Nestle says it will launch plant-based burgers in Europe and the US this year.

Nestle’s meatless Incredible Burger will go on sale this month in supermarkets in Europe under the Garden Gourmet brand. First it will be in Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden. Then in late 2019 the Awesome Burger, designed for American palates, will go on sale where Sweet Earth brand products are sold.
